How the pricing works

Every price listed on this site includes a $100 service charge, and that charge is only paid once per visit. Combine anything in the same visit and $100 comes off each additional item.

• A $200 snowblower routine service plus a $160 fuel service is $260, not $360.
• Add a fuel service on a second machine while I'm there and it's $320.
• Individual repairs work the same way — a $160 fuel service plus a $140 pull cord replacement is $200.

If you have more than one machine that needs attention, or more than one job on the same machine, it is always cheaper to have it all done in one visit. Text the full list and you'll get one combined quote.

If a second visit is needed

Some repairs need a part that has to be ordered. If that happens, you are not billed for two visits. The first visit is a $100 service charge, and on the second visit you are only charged the labour.

If there is genuinely no way I can help, or the machine can't be fixed, the service fee you paid becomes a credit toward a future appointment. If you were charged $100, you have $100 to use on any service later on.

Parts

Customers supply their own parts. I'll tell you exactly which part you need and where to get it, so you're not guessing.

• Get the part number first. It's usually in the manual that came with the machine. If you don't have the manual, call a dealer and ask them for the number.
• Check Amazon first. It's the number one place to get small engine parts online, and the large majority of what these machines need is there.
• If it's not on Amazon, go to the dealer. At that point hunting for it anywhere else is more trouble than it's worth, and the dealer will have it or can order it in.

Warranty

Two levels of coverage, depending on the work:

• 6 month seasonal warranty on any machine brought back to starting and running properly — which is the majority of what I do.
• 2 year warranty on the labour for cable and pull-cord replacements. If the work comes loose, I come back and fix it. The part itself isn't covered, since parts are customer-supplied.

If there's a problem with my work inside the warranty period, text me and it gets taken care of at no charge.

Payment

Cash is preferred and e-transfer is also accepted. All listed prices are the cash rate and are shown before tax. Have a written quote from another shop? Send it over and I'll match it on comparable work.
